Day Trip to Draa Valley, Zagora and Tinfou Dunes

Desert Day Trip from Ouarzazate Description:

Morning departure from Ouarzazate in a 4×4 air-conditioned car towards Dra’a Valley and Tinfou Dunes crossing over the Anti-Atlas Mountains and the pass of Tizi-n-Tinfifite (1660m).

After a stop for a break of tea or coffee, we go off-road along the Dra’a Valley and the ancient Road of Caravans to better view the river, the surrounding oasis, Kasbahs, and the mountains. We stop in the dunes of Tinfou, enjoy a desert walk on the dunes and experience a camel ride. Lunch will be served in Zagora, the largest oasis in the area and well-known for its dates.

The way back to Ouarzazate is via Tamegroute, where we stop to visit the Koranic library and the local pottery workshops. We reach Ouarzazate by the end of the day which marks the end of your desert day trip from Ouarzazate.
