Departure in the morning from Ouarzazate to M’hamid and Erg Lihoudi Dunes passing Agdez, where we stop for a tea break.
The Dra’a Valley starts with beautiful palm trees, the ancient kasbahs, and the oasis. Later on, we go off-road along the Dra’a Valley and the Ancient Road of the Caravans to arrive in Zagora for lunch. In the afternoon, the route takes us to M’hamid, the gate of the Sahara Desert.
Here, an hour to an hour and a half camel ride takes to Erg Lihoudi Dunes to catch an incredible sunset from the top of the dunes. Later on in the evening, there will be a little party of Berber Music and drumming around a bit of fire. Dinner and overnight in a Nomad tent at the foot of the dunes.
If you wake up early enough, you can catch the spectacle of the sunrise, when the color of the golden dunes and the play of the shadow is an incredible sight. After breakfast, the return from Erg Lihoudi Dunes to M’hamid is on camelback or the 4×4.
After a break, the trip starts by driving north to Tamegroute, where we visit the Koranic library and the workshops of Pottery fabrication.
From here, we continue to Kasbah Tamnougalte, where lunch is scheduled. Later on, we cross the Anti-Atlas and the pass of Tizi-n-Tinfifite to arrive in Ouarzazate at the end of the day bringing your Erg Lihoudi desert tour to an end.
At the price is included 4×4, driver, fuel, and camel ride. Breakfast and dinner except for drinks, but water in the desert is included. The driver speaks English, Spanish and French.
