Day Trip from Marrakech to Ourika Valley

Ourika Valley Day Trip from Marrakech Description:

Departure in the morning from Marrakech towards Ourika Valley which is 60 KM away at about 1000 m altitude in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains. Along the ride, we will visit the valley of Lalla Takerkoust, which supplies the surrounding areas with water, to take photos of the natural views, the mausoleum of Moulay Brahim.

After passing the National Toubkal Park, we will visit Asni, a Barber village famous for its souks, and last we will visit female co-operatives manufacturing Argan oil. When we reach Ourika Valley, a Tajine is served for lunch in one of the restaurants on the side of the river.

You can either have your lunch in the restaurant or have a table arranged for you in the river, so you eat while your feet on the cool water. After lunch, a local guide will take you on a tour to see the surrounding area and the seven waterfalls. The view from here is breathtaking, and the setting is magical. We arrive back at Marrakech by the end of the afternoon bringing your Ourika Valley day trip to an end!
