1st day: Marrakech – Dades Gorges

Kick off your Marrakech to Merzouga desert tour 4 days morning departure from your riad in the bustling city to Dades Gorges, crossing the High Atlas Mountains. At viewpoints, there will be stops to take photos and admire the panoramic views of the valleys and the Berber Villages situated on the sides of the mountains.

After crossing the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass, you continue to descend the hills until you arrive at Ouarzazate, where lunch is scheduled. After lunch, our journey continues to Skoura Oasis, where we stop to explore Kasbah Amredhil.

From here, the road continues to Kel’aa M’gouna, the Valley of the Roses, and the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs. Later on, we arrive in Dades Gorges in a modernly equipped and authentically built guest house for dinner and overnight.

2nd day: Dades Gorges – Merzouga

After breakfast, there will be an opportunity for a short walk by the river of Boumalne Dades Valley, the gardens, and surrounding areas before continuing to the Dunes of Erg Chebbi in Merzouga Toudgha Gorges, where you will explore the gorges and have lunch.

Later on, our trip continues to Erg Chebbi Dunes along the Ziz Valley and the Tafilalet Valley before we arrive at the Dunes of Merzouga for an hour Sunset Camel Ride in the Morocco Sahara Desert.

After being welcomed by mint tea in Erg Chebbi Dunes, you can take a moment for yourself in the dunes, climb to the top to admire the spectacle of the sunset, and enjoy a moment of pure peacefulness. An evening of Berber Music and drumming around a bit of fire awaits you. Dinner and overnight in a Nomad tent.

3rd day: Merzouga – Ouarzazate

If you wake up early enough, you can catch the spectacle of the sunrise, when the orange dunes that stretch for miles and the play of the shadows is an incredible sight. Having had breakfast, we return to the hotel, on camelback or 4×4 car, to take a shower and have breakfast.

The journey continues from Merzouga to Ouarzazate, passing villages of Rissani, Alnif, Tazzarine, featured in the film Babel, and N’Qob, where lunch is scheduled.

In the afternoon, we continue along the Dra’a Valley and the Ancient Road of the Caravans, passing numerous oases, ancient kasbahs, and many palm trees. We continue across the Anti-Atlas Mountains and the Tizi-n-Tinfifite Pass to Ouarzazate for the night and dinner in a hotel.

4th day: Ouarzazate – Marrakech

After breakfast, a visit is scheduled to the Atlas Film Studios. Later on, we take a side road to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, the most famous kasbah in Morocco, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and a backdrop to many Hollywood blockbusters.

The itinerary continues through the Ounila Valley, with beautiful views of the Berber Villages and mountains, to arrive in Kasbah Telouet, where you will stop to visit the Kasbah of Telouet and have lunch. Later on, we cross the High Atlas Mountains to Arrive at the red city in the afternoon bringing your Marrakech to Merzouga desert tour 4 days to an end.
